Until they realized that was just another feel good

Some thought it was through energy
Until they realized that was of this world

Some thought it was through emptiness
Until they realized that was just impossible

Some thought it was through concentration
Until they realized that was not any closer

Some thought it was through prayer
Until they realized that was mere hope

Some thought it was through chanting
Until they realized that was just another syllable

Some thought it was through fasting
Until they realized that was just about the body

Some thought it was through penance
Until they realized that burdened the mind

Some thought it was about Now
Until they realized that was just another concept

Some thought it was through awareness
Until they realized that was still not it

Some thought thoughts were the cause
Until they realized that was never a problem

Some thought it was through resolving past lives
Until they realized that was futile

Some thought it was through superstition
Until they realized that was a bondage

So much advice
So many pointers
So many ideas
So many directions
So many concepts
So many instructions
So many pleasantries
None of it “arrives” you Home
Except just another thought
