dejavu bardo

this moment,
shadow of past.
no shadow,
now never was.

stacks of shadow,
continuity seem.
lack of substance,
ghostly now.

perception culprit,
projection cause.
looking out, the reason,
ignorance the root.

future never was,
but, a now mistake.
past seems to be,
except a looking out.

past never pasts,
now never exist,
future none at all,
a mistake all seen.

forward, a disdain,
future, a shame,
outward a silly mistake,
except a moment error.

look not to object,
from mind it begins,
not even that,
but illusion of desire.

no past to reverse,
no present to undo,
no future to stop,
only a wakeup call.

beyond these,
nothing came,
nothing gone,
only the Unchanged.

The above was inspired by this morning’s early appearance of wisdom. The mind woke up groggy at 2am preparing to meditate and while doing a light walk after a drink, wisdom came and showed how the present appeared out of nowhere due to the immediate past. There was a tiny surprise and wish to recall and that brought forth another new moment. Two moment were shown how existence came to be because of forward bound.

The immediate past has no future awaiting, just as the same goes to there is no future after the now. Yet, the “next” appears, by the very fact what happens at the mind of the now. A projection took place and the world came to be again. Ignorance clearly is the cause where the 12 Dependent Origination is understood at another new level.
